Doctor Sania Mirza

The Hindu reports that Sania Mirza has just been awarded a doctorate by MGR university in Chennai. A doctorate in what I ask? And Sania is very happy to get a doctorate. It had always been a dream? What's the point of such a doctorate? What does it say about you? And what's with universities falling over themselves to give out honorary degrees left, right and center. Why can't they leave the sanctity of somethings intact? BS!!!
